How do we express just how much we appreciate those who stand with this ministry making it possible for Bread of Life to feed, clothe, and share the love of Christ with needy children, the elderly, and the poor of Romania? This is the task I have been given, and I must confess it is a daunting task to me. To genuinely express how much your prayers and support make a difference is something that is tough to put into words and write down on paper.
The pandemic made travel to visit churches, give updates, and do fundraising impossible during 2020. We are a small ministry, we do not have professional fundraisers or a large budget. We depend on God to move in the hearts of his people to help us keep all of the projects within our ministry going.
Without your prayers and support, none of what we do would happen. Many children would go without food and shelter, many elderly would not be visited, or provided with needed food, the leper community would not have supplies delivered, medical care would not be given, and the list goes on and on. This may seem redundant to hear but is so true. Without God placing us on your heart and you responding to his prompting, we could not minister. We are truly laborers together.
We treasure your involvement and never want to take you for granted. The apostle Paul describes well our feelings in 1 Thessalonians 1:2,3 “We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;”
You are in our hearts and we know that we could not do this without God’s help and those who stand with us. Thank you for all your prayers and support. May God richly bless you here and in heaven to come.
