Praying for our Invisible Team
It is with great joy we share with you our monthly ministry stories about the progress of the children at the orphanage and updates from the different ministry projects in Romania. You know from reading our newsletter reports many of our children grow up, finish their education and move on to form stable Christian families and the fingerprint of your financial contributions and prayers become a part of their life story. But there is also another significant factor contributing to the good reports we share that is not as visible, our educational staff. Those people who work hard behind the scenes to help the good ideas become palpable results and success stories. We want to make them visible and introduce them to you through our newsletters. They are a vital part of our ministry and they need your prayers as they work to mentor and mold these young ones.
This month we would like to introduce our team of daily child care tutors; Sister Iulia, Elena, Nicoleta, Mihaela and Marcela. These women spend every day with the children helping them with homework assignments and teaching them important life responsibilities. As the children return from school the teams of tutors are there to welcome them and from 1 PM to 9 PM each weekday life around the Bread of Life Orphanage abounds with activity much like an ant hill. Many of our children come to us with a history of neglect, carrying in their souls the scars of tragic years prior to their arrival. Our team gets actively involved in teaching them important life responsibilities and overseeing activities scheduled for the children. There are many job titles and descriptions that could describe their roles, but the most important role by far is the role of mother and mentor.
For the past fifteen years this role of mother and mentor has had a great impact on the children’s lives. We thank our team for the diligent efforts they have put forth, sowing into the lives of the little on
es. We encourage you to keep praying for them as they continue their daily work. They are molding eternal souls and need God’s wisdom and love to change the future of these little ones.
